* Julia nació en Bremen, Alemania de una madre alemana y un padre inglés. Después se mudaron a Estados Unidos y luego volvieron a Alemania en 1986. Julia vive hoy en día en Londres. Sus trabajos son muy personales e impresionantes y muchas veces suplementa la luz natural con múltiples flashes para conseguir el efecto que ella quiere. La combinación de su ojo, la naturalidad de sus modelos, los inusuales  exteriores, el efecto de la luz, se combinan para producir un personal estilo que identifica sus instantáneas.

* Julia was born in Bremen, Germany to a German mother and English father. The family then moved to USA, and back to Germany, before moving to England in 1986. Julia now lives in London. Her works are personal and impressive and sometimes uses studio lighting to suplement daylight. She may use as many as seven or eight flash heads to achieve the impression that she wants. This combination of eye, the naturalness of the models, the unusual surroundings, the effect of the lighting all combine to yield a style that identifies her pictures.
