Una de las cosas buenas de tener un blog es que puedes poner las cosas que quieras, y si un día hablas con un amigo y surge algo (por ejemplo un video, una web, una receta...) ya no dices:
"-Te mando un email luego y lo ves!"
Sino que dices.
"-Lo enchufo luego en el blós!"
Pues bien, hoy me he levantado tarareando la canción de Money Mark "Hand in your hand" que es maravillosa y muy pegadiza, además de tener un video divertido como pocos.
¿Que quién es Money Mark? Bueno, para quien no lo sepa Mark Ramos _Nishita aka Money Mark (no confundir con Marky Mark) eh!) es el llamado "4º Beastie Boy" pues es el teclista habitual de la banda. La mayor parte de su trabajo es underground. Su primer álbum, el oscuro "Mark´s keyboard repair" (1995), hecho con teclados (of course!) y grabado en calidad demo. Siguido por el EP "Third Version EP" y un magnífico álbum llamado "Push the button" en 1998, ecléctico a más no poder combinando rock y pop con el soul, funk o hip-hop. Éste álbum obtuvo buenas críticas (es de dónde está extraído el video) y derivó en el LP "Change is Coming con su mezcla de música disco y funk con ritmos tropicales. En septiembre de 2006 fichó por Brushfire rec, el sello de Jack Johnson y publicará un álbum en enero de 2007.

Mark Ramos-Nishita aka Money Mark is a producer and musician who has collaborated with the Beastie Boys many times. Most of his work is underground. His first album, the relatively obscure "Mark's Keyboard Repair" (1995), was made up of keyboard driven pop-funk songs recorded at demo quality. It was followed up by the "Third Version EP" in 1996 and "Push the Button" in 1998, extremely eclectic, combining aspects of Rock music and Pop with Soul, Funk and Hip-Hop. This inventive LP was met with good reviews, as was his 2001 follow up "Change is Coming" which had a tropical yet danceable disco and funk sound. As of September 2006 Money Mark is signed to Jack Johnson's Brushfire Records label and will be releasing a new album in January 2007.
